Jim Green

All Star Educator

James Green served as the Assistant Head Football Coach for Finneytown High School from 1972-1979. He has been called the "Father of Finneytown Athletic Training" having volunteered his time to start the athletic trainer position at the high school. He completed his career at Finnetyown as the Athletic Site Supervisor.

In 1980, with the help of dedicated parents and staff, Mr. Green constructed the first modern training room at Finneytown with then state-of-the-art equipment. The student trainer program directed many students into the field of athletic training.

Mr. Green retired from the Finneytown Local School District in 2000.
