Finneytown Releases Artist's Rendering of new Secondary Campus

Now that the new Finneytown Elementary building has been open for 14 months, work is beginning in earnest on the new Finneytown Secondary Campus! The attached illustration is an artist's rendering of what the new Secondary Campus may look like when it's completed. The building in the left foreground may look familiar - that's the PAC. That's right - the beloved Swartzel Performing Arts Center isn't going anywhere. The PAC is a community gem that, despite its age, still remains heavily used by both Finneytown's school-sponsored performing arts programs and several community-based cultural programs. Similarly, the building in the right foreground is the main gymnasium, used year-round by both sports and academic programs. While both facilities are, on the surface, showing wear and tear due to their extensive use, architects have confirmed that both buildings have great bones. They further believe that a little renovation will breath decades of new life into both spaces. Said Scott Haarlammert, Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation president, "I'm thrilled that future generations of Finneytown students will get to experience the same community-centered facilities that most of Finneytown's Alumni were able to utilize while they were students!"
Construction is expected to begin in 2024, run throughout 2025 and be ready for a grand opening sometime in 2026.
